m20 fuel pump question

This may sound like a daft question but I was told (and I cannot remember who by) that when I do this 318-325 (m40-m20) conversion I can run it off his 318 fuel pump??

Is this correct?
A 2 door e30 with 8 cylinders, what could be better winkeye :D

Yes, pumps are all the same (apart from being fuel tank specific).

Ah that's ok then, the car is on a H and I believe the engine or doner vehicle is a H also.

Thanks for clearing that up for me as usual Mr Moooore 8)
