Brake Pad wear sensor replacement

Hi all,

Can the front brake pad wear sensor be changed with the pad still fitted or does it have to be removed?

Can't say I've ever tried, but I can't see why not. Just clips in from the edge.

Thanks for the rapid reply, I'll give it a go anyway, was just seeing if anybody knew for definate.

I'm tempted to just repair the cable as it's shot but the sensors are so cheap, I keep argueing with myself!
