Need some help please
I've been having battery drain problems on my e30 and have just noticed both the electric window switch lights stays on after the car is locked and the arrows seem to stay lit up
Might be a stupid question but can I turn them off or is it normal for them to stay on all the time?
Cheers for any help

Not normal, and will be the cause of your battery drain.
Assuming these are factory fitted windows, check the door pin switches, and that the plastic buttons in the door, that push against the pin switches, are all present.
Pull out fuse 17 and 28 in turn, and see which one makes the lights go out.

Cheers for that it's the button missing looks like I owe you a pint, I changed the door over a little while back and looks like I didn't notice it was missing the button on the new door
Now where can I get another one as the old door is long gone

I think the part may be 61 31 1 370 695, which should cost you about £1 from BMW, but confirm that part # with your dealer before ordering it.

I've spoken to someone who has one so hopefully sorted, the car been in 2 garages trying to find out the problem and i suppose seeing as they leave while it's still light out nobody has noticed the light's on on the switches still on.
Fingers crossed this is it.
Thanks again for your help Brian
