can someone tell me the size of the standard speakers,front and rear?
Also maximum depth?

Looking to get some but need to know sizes first :)

13cm is size but prob no deaper than 8/10cm

yeah same for the rear,i got alpines in the front and rear u can get them that are facotry fit,not sure on the wat depth it is though

ill have a quick look in a min and link u to a few on there that will fit,i got alpines in the front and infintys in the rear and they are a snug fit and sound awesome

they are cheap at that aint they,mum payed more than that,similar to mine but i dnt have tweeters and mine sound superb, i built some door enclosers for 6 inch speakers and i just found some for a tenner, well chuffed,glad i was helping now

glancing through these i would say that all of them will be fine, just ask if u wanna be sure,i like the boston acoustics ones at the begining they are the dogs

I didn't know they go so cheap. TBH haven't looked for a while, I have phoenix gold with tweeters in the front and they are the dogs, wouldn't swap them for anything !

yeah they are nice, going bloody cheap as well but i doubt they will stay at that, i like boston acoustics as well, but ive got everything alpine in mine just summat i have always had since i was 17

yeah they are well worth it, thats a good thing about this forum, u try and help someone else and nearly always help out urself as well, like them 6 inch i found, been wanting some for a while now but not really got round to looking and now i have found some,well chuffed

blimey they ARE cheap ! I paid Ԛ£315 for my CDX-F7750S - CD/MP3 PLAYER when I bought it and now it goes for less than Ԛ£180 !!!

WTH is going on am I being ripped off or what !! :wtf:

Best speakers I can recommend are Caliber 2-way components fitted to my 325 with the mids in the standard positions and tweeters on the bttom of the A pillars...

Unfortunately, they have stopped importing Caliber into this country so I ended up buying a pair of Vibe Kevlar units...also 2-way components in the same position...for my M3

although I wouldn't recommend Car Audio Direct cos they ca be a bit "difficult"!
