I took my icv off the other day to clean it out with spray carb cleaner and there was something in it loose and rattling..... Put it back on anyway as I had no choice. Idle is ok so it puzzled me as to why something is moving about in it ?

Anyway, I realised I have a spare off my old m50. Dug it out and although it needs a clean its solid, nothing moves or rattles if shaken so I can only asume the one on the car right now is buggered!?.....

Am I right in thinking these are the same item and I can use the one off my m50 on the m52?

Thoughts welcomed 8)

Its supposed to move around Ant, thats how it regulates the airflow. WD40 it and blow out with compressed air if possible
