ive just bought a diff from quarry motors and im nkt sure if its lsd! its a 3.7something from a 325 e30 cabrio...when i turn the prop both outputs spi. the same way and same ive i turn the either output shaft....also...if.it is a slippy one...can i use universal wetbrake oil? designed for dumper truck axels with oil immersed brakes (similar system as an lsd i think?) thanks

I believe both output shafts should spin the same way if its an LSD. They will turn in opposite directions if the diff is open.

No idea on the wetbrake oil you want to use, but LSD oil isn't expensive.

Hold one output shaft and try to turn the other. If you can, it's not a (working) slipper.
