Originally i planned to swap all the de-chromed trim on my car for chrome trim.....
But i am not entirely sure i want to go to the lengths of removing both my front a rear bumpers and the Tech-1 kit that’s bolted to them.
So i am going to refurb the de-chromed trim that is on the car.
Thought i might buy some fine line masking tape and regular masking tape and along with a number of newspapers, mask around the trims and sand/prime/paint in situe?.... However with my car being a convertible i think this could get messy.
So..... is it hard to remove all the trims from around the a-pillar door section and along the tops of the doors and rear quarter AND the horse-shoe trim. So that i can paint them all away from the car.... Is re-fitting just a reversal of the removal?
Thanks.....
Richard.
