wiper problem

parked up last night and turned the wipers of with the ignition so they were left in the upright position got into the car this morning turned the ignition on and ther was a loud clunk and now the wipers wont move but motor works fine why would this happen?

Sounds like the linkage has come adrift - I had this problem years ago - you need to remove the covers to have a proper look - it should be obvious.

sorted!motor arm ball joint popped out of link simple fix
