I've read all the threads on here regarding peeps heaters not blowing out hot air - like mine! And what to do about it. Just a quick question though - yesterday my dash blowers decided to blow a little hot air, the hottest my cab has ever been in this shitty cold weather, but now its back to cold.

Would this mean my thermostat ok and I just need to bleed the cooling system, heater matrix etc? The windscreen and feet blowers always got a little heat but the main dash blowers are poo!!!

Any help would be great.

It's worth changing the thermostat, they're not expensive and pretty easy to change, it could be stuck open, allowing coolant to flow through the rad constantly, keeping it cooler than it should be.

Yeah, the engine gets to a working temp fine - the needle rises just left of middle after a few miles of driving. And I'm sure the heater control fine as well. So it must be the cooling system right? My mate gonna bleed it at the weekend, cos he more sure what he's doing!
