My 325's backbox is currently being hung with half a bow clamp welded onto the box and one rubber ring!
How many bow clamps should there be and how many brackets should there be. If anyone has a pic that would be so helpful.
I have looked on realOEM but can't work out how it fits?
How is the backbox held up? still not right! Help!

P.s. The exhaust is aftermarket so not even sure the standard bow clamp would fit.

There should be two rubber rings on the back box, one rubber hanger just behind the back box to a clamp on the rear beam, and a metal bolt hanger from the rear of the gearbox to the midsection of the exhaust.

It's just the bits that attach onto the backbox I'm concerned with. Everything else seems in place. So do the rubber rings attach to brackets fitted to the chassis either side of the exhaust bay and then attach to the bow clamp? All I have is one clamp and rubber ring hanging inboard of the exhaust bay and that is attached to half a bow clamp welded on to the backbox!

Some late versions dispense with the clamps around the silencer, and use a clamp attached to the tail pipes, in conjunction with a single rubber support ring.

Mine is definately the early type and looking again on realOEM it looks like I should have two of the big bow clamps that go round the box. Each of those has a clamp with a rubber ring that hangs off a bracket attached to the car. Does this sound right?

Yup that sounds spot on.
The bracket splits into 2 parts so you attach the rubber rings to the car and the upper section of the big bow clamp to the ring, then add back box and bolt the lower bow clamps to the upper ones. Easier with more than 1 person.

Cool, thanks for helping clear that up for me. Looks like I need to buy the whole lot. A lot of the part numbers are missing from realOEM so next job is source all the bits!

OK, i bought the bracket from ebay as suggested by sanchez. Cheers for the advice so far but there is something obviously missing. There is another fixed bracket in the wheel arch which i assume should be used but i cant work out what i need to fix it. The fact that the exhaust is after market might be throwing me a bit as it looks like the hanger would fix to the actual pipe and not the box!

Your aftermarket box is too short!
On OE rear box a 2nd bow clamp fits to this in exactly the same way as the one you have on.
You are going to have to get creative.

I double posted this by accident. I think I'm going to ditch the aftermarket backbox and get a standard one. Now wondering if I can flog the SS one on and recoup some costs.
