Just testing the water here, but I'm curious to know if there's a market out there for people interested in hiring out my E30 325 Kumho race car for track days or possibly even race it!
Could be interesting if you were to hire and share costs for a day and don't want to run your own car round a circuit.
Details of the car are on www.zonemotorsport.co.uk
Basic rules would be:
- Passenger in the car at all times (either me or nominated person)
- Data logging running at all times. Max revs set via rev limiter
- Returnable bond paid upfront (on c.card or similar) somewhere in the region of Ԛ£500
- Signed damage disclaimers etc (obviously!)
- Track day/Transport costs variable but Donny and Oulton are both relatively local to me and I can get good prices!
- Possibility of profesional instructor (not me!)
I've got two cars now and I can't drive two at once so just curious to see if anyone's interested!

Very good idea Paul, and generous too!
After only a few laps at Castle Combe I now have a taste for track days

I'd be up for this.
I'd like to try a quick RWD car on track!

Your old E30 will be behind me all season anyway Dom... dd some maths last night and I am going to need ballast to stay in class C!!
Guys - Any ideas on what you'd consider paying to do hire the car for the day? I'm guessing somewhere in the region of Ԛ£400 for the car, Ԛ£500 returnable deposit plus the cost of fuel & track day itself. Split between 4 drivers I recon it's about Ԛ£200 each.
