Decided I really really need to get my self one of these babys, any one know much about them?
How much of my children’s inheritance would I need to shell out for one?
It would not be a daily driver by any means and would be looking for something of project standard definitely not a minter as I expect mint examples are problaby worth in excess of 20k?

I'm sure you can still pick up a bargain. Definitely one of the best BMW marques.

Whoops missed that bit, the cheapest one I've found so far is just under 5k and it's needs a lot of rust sorting out including a new floor

Shame, you'd get 3 of them with zero rust for less than 3k
