Hi there,
I have read all the posts about carb cleaner being the best thing to clean an ICV. I have tried to find it here in Denmark but all I get is the carb cleaning fuel additive - which is probably not the same.
I have heard that brake cleaner does a similar job but some of you don't think it has the same lubricant properties.
So is there anything else I can use or would one of you kind gents like to send me some !!!
Just that the damn thing keeps sticking sometimes and rather than the sweet 700rpm tickover I am used to it stops at 1000 without dropping. The usual quick blip on the throttle to settle it is beginning to bug me.
Thanks in advance,
G

Do they not have carb cars in Denmark?!
Should be an aerosol, but i think brake cleaner will be fine, wouldn't have though you really want a lubrication agent at all.

No don't use WD40!!
Use brake cleaner, it's the same stuff as carb cleaner.
