I need to replace the aluminium lower control arms on the touring.
Where is the best place to get them from & is there anything touring specific?

Aluminium wishbones are exclusive to M3 and 325i touring.....and are a dealer only item.....most tourings get by with Lemforder cast arms from GSF or ECP for about £70 each.

Definately got alloy ones at the moment, but the ball joints near the hubs are looking tatty.
As the engine is coming out for replacement, I'm thinking this is a good a time as any to replace the wishbones.
So it looks like the Lemforder ones, are the ones to go for...

The ally one's are a lot lighter and reduce unsprung wieght.

That said, very few 325i touring's now have ally arms! the added advantage with the cast items, now that they are creeping up in price,is that the balljoints can be swapped with reasonable ease. Not something that can be done with the lightwieght items.
