It's not that great. I've seen it up close and driven it - whilst it drives very well and is pretty original, it's had a lot of paint in the usual areas.

For £1500 it would be worth a punt but they're asking nice condition Highline money - not for an old 628CSi Auto. They've had it for sale for a year at least, and it's done the rounds of classic car dealers who are all trying to shift it.

Unless I'm mistaken they're Dunlop Denovo, they were an option from quite early on in production if memory serves.

Those alloys first 'debuted' on the V8S introduced in 1980, in gold iirc. They were also used on the early Vanden Plas, cough, cough
