325 was the only thing that fitted my criteria for a trackday car. Rear wheel drive, manual 'box and more than 4 cylinders for less than Ԛ£2k.
I did consider a 300zx though, but too heavy. If i didn't have the E30, i'd porably have a leter model Audi S6, or maybe a BMW 750iL.

a TVR 3000M
i went to buy this very car (Ԛ£4200) and after i gave it a test drive i knew i kill myself in it, it was the most exciting car ive ever driven or been driven in but i couldnt handle it,
had had just about everything done to it to squeeze every last ounce of performance from it and it was an animal. drove from edinburgh to hastings to buy it and sat for almost an hour in the guys back garden trying to make myself drive it away.
its still my dream car though, one came up on autotrader last year 20 miles from me but it had had the same treatment and a turbo fitted!
but one day..

I would have a MK1 Escort RS2000, I had one when I was 18. I've since had better and faster cars but none that were as much fun and have so many good memories about. It was shit on petrol, sunroof leaked and it cost me a bastard fortune to keep going but I would'nt have it any other way

It all depends on money, and insurance. But realisticly if i wanted somthing for a few grand id probably get somthing cheap jap and turbo just for the comfort+performance side. Although ive kinda got the car i want at the moment, just cant drive the thing for a while!

The evo's are pretty rare, but the 2.3 cosworth 190's are a little easier to find.318-is wrote:i cant say how much they are

mm, think it would have to be Cosworth powered! Always loved a Sierra RS500, with a good 400-500bhp!!
Before i was driving, my sisters friend had 1 with 512bhp!! Was featured in FastFord magazine!! took me out in it!! Still the fastest thing i`ve been in!! He`s now building a sapphire with around 570bhp!! should be interesting!!
