M52B28 inlet breather system, keep it/bin it?

My mate is in the process of a 24v conversion using an m52b28.

All going well so far, engines in, prop sorted, wiring and ecu and exhausts are with danthe, however the breather system is a bit of a mess.

What have other people done with theirs?

The dipstick tube used doesn't have the same connections as the original and we were wondering if you actually have to run all the gubbins that is under the inlet manifold or if you can bin it and just go for a catch tank with a breather?

Ideas would be gratefully recieved.

If you are using the M50 manifold, bin the oil separator and run the crank case breather back to the intake elbow, same as the M50 setup.
If you are keeping the M52 for a while just weld a small tube onto the dipstick tube to run the oil drain to from the oil separator.
