They are the most local! I'd say stay in mine but we have 7 dogs to fight and it takes time & skill.

There will be loads more places to stay, but they are the most local, Badgers mount is about 2 miles, the other is about 3-4 miles.

Yo yo yo jimbo, am well up for this. Tech 1 is in for MOT next month so all being well will defo bring the old girl down. Camping it up like last time, hopefully the weather will be kinder to us this time! Might even bring a mate with an E36 & E46 show him the errors of his ways if that's alright?

I might start arranging the Coventry Toby Cavery and see how mad he gets but i will kiss his feet first to appologies

But I would very much be up for a Coventry meet before this. I'm trying to keep my car off the road for a while so it will be tax, insured and mot'd for the first meet. Most likely April time like yours Rob, which I am very much looking forward to seeing again.

As it stands, I think most of the midlands zoners have their cars tucked away, sorn, or are working on them..
Both mine are sorn, chromies on the drive and cabs in a garage locked up.
A meet can be arranged, but do you think many will turn up??

If you want to turn up in whatever for a meet, beer and chat, no probs

It's all been done last year, meetings arraged, and half turn up.

I'll start the meets in late Spring/summer, hopefully by then, the weather will call the zoners out.

A couple of months notice is usually needed though - how about a provisional date for end of April ? 29th ?

Most people who tax their cars for the summer should have done so by then and we stand a chance of the weather being OK - plus its after easter and the weekend before the May bank holiday so people should be around that weekend ?

I wouldnt say its too close Although I'll be able to make that day, but it would give a chance to encourage others to get their tents ready for mine too

I'd have to make some flyiers with my crayons so you can pass them around between the usuals that show up

Fook em, if its too cold I can go indoors It should be fine I think anyway, regardless of when I do it, its gonna rain... Sods law. The scrap will be on full show I think, all prices up too, and security tagged so the dogs bark and bite if people steal.

Its not far And if you was worried about driving all the way down and then back again in 2 days, the North people can come on a Friday if they wanted, dont expect me to come and and acknowledge you though

But in all seriousness, you can come on the friday, you'd have to tent it then mooch around all day saturday. I'll be cutting the field on the friday most likely and then trying to set up a gazebo or something on the saturday.


I'm thinking of dropping the Sunday drive to the pub and just saying at mine for the day, as long as everyone doesnt want to go first thing in the morning again...


We do have Gypsie pikey static caravans up here too but no doubt that weekend, they'll all be being used and let out to people Last time we used the empty one for its toilet, if thats empty, im sure you can kip in one of them on the friday and live a life of luxury...

If its not empty, i'll get a big bedsheet and mate a curtain wall, dig a hole, build a base to sit on and then ring a hire company and get a portaloo or something

Zee German Show... Not sure yet I'll bump it back up later on and try to get the ball rolling a bit with it actually. I'm in need of some 'spare' money to book the rooms etc, but when we know where, everyone can start ringing and booking, ideally though we try to get them to hold a few rooms so people can ring and pay for theirs etc.

At the moment I have bills coming out of my nostrels so any money I have is just paying crap off and getting back ontop after a few tax man bills through me out
