Is it a lot of bother to cut a 2pc 325 exhaust and fit the 3Pc backbox? Has anyone tried?

I wouldnt bother mate!

did the 2 piece on my touring last night-took 30 mins! just got new bolts and hacsawed the old ones, because they were all rusty.

It really isnt hard to fit, maybe get a mate to help support it while taking it off..

if you think the back box is too expensive, gsf will drop to Ԛ£76 inc vat if you moan enough :D

I actually have a nearly new 2Pc on the car from Europarts. But the pipes are the old style angled ones (I thought all 2Pc systems would have straight pipes). The car is a mtec2 sport, so the pipes are all wrong in the spoiler.

ahh! the reasoning becomes apparent!

no ideas on that one mate, unless you just get a set of straight tailpipes and weld them on in place of angled bits?
