Forgive the stupid question.......... I am trying to replace the foglight bulb on my Tech 1, am i right in thinking that as it is a pre-facelift the glass front needs to be remooved to access the bulb, i just dont want to force the glass as smash it. I have looked in behind the fog light and therre is no access panel on the rear.

Any info would be greatfully recieved.

You just need to unscrew the black plastic trim/rectangle on the front of the light and the glass lense slides out giving access to the bulb on the back.
Looks like this:

Thanks guys, thought it would be something like that, just didnt want to force it and break the lens, just trying to get a few little issues sorted before putting it back on the road for the summer and getting the old bird MOT'd ( I know the front fog are not part of the MOT).

That fog light looks like its seen better days rob 8O little bit past its best that one.......

My Fog lights do not have the rear access like the 2 pictured above, without trying to sound stupid :o: the fog lights seem a little to far recessed in the lower valance to be able to slide the lens off however have not tried it but will do so when i get i get home.

I think they clip onto the inside of the bumper on the tech 1 bodykit.

They have a cylindrical bit of plastic on either side of the plastic mounts that you need to ease out of the moulded bumper. You can just about see them in the images on this link:

Nice one mb15 I see what you mean that makes more sense, will try and prise them out if it is still light when I get home later, seems a bit archaic even by Tech 1 standards having to ease them out by bending the kit

In that pic you can see two crosshead screws. One on each side of the black trim round the lens. Undo them, remove the trim, and the lens module will pull out.
