I'm going to be getting some crystal indicators for the front in a couple of weeks. Now i also want to change my side repeaters but i can't make my mide up which will look better Smoked or Clears.
Any opinions would be appreciated, even more so if someine could knock something up on Photoshop with the crystals fitted along with the different side repeaters.
Thought i'd do a poll for the hell of it as well!
Cheers

)

I am siding more towards clear but just not 100% as nobody seems to do crystal side repeaters.
Just been flicking through a recent PVW mag and seen some black crystal indicators, now they would look cool IMO.

Fitting E36 side repeaters is a good mod, theyre a lot smaller and neater, but does require some body mods....ideal if the car is having some spraying done.

Does it need much doing to the body, mine is hopefully going in at the end of the week to have the off-side wing fitted and sprayed, wouldn't be much more to get the other side sprayed. Probably a bit late to sort out the change in arrangements though.

if it's going into the bodyshop anyway then why not delete the side repeaters alltogether???????
there was an m3 at the croydon meet that had deleted his and it had gone through at least 2 mots without it being picked up...
and let's face it they can always be re-added.

Mine was imported in 1997, I've got all the MOT's since it was imported and it hasn't got any side repeaters..I don't plan on fitting any either!

Pain, my new wing is one with the hole for the side repeater.
I don't think a car has to have side repeaters, just that if it does they have to work. Mk1 Golfs don't have them, although i suppose i might be different on newer cars.

if its new, then tin filler in the hole, normal filler over, and then pick aspot and drill!
just not exactly on the filler, and give it a good 2 days to dry

None, thanks very much! I've never had a car with side repeaters actually!

your car is cool in many ways mate. when you start earning some proper money i hope you stick with it, for i am sure you'll make it something special.
might have known you'd not have any...

Cheers mate; I certainly hope to

It'd seem wrong in some ways to actually start spending some money on it though!
Just fitted some new main beams to replace my 'orrible ones... at a cost of Ԛ£0 of course.
Sorry for the

btw! Still reckon no repeaters looks best though
