they dont look stretched because i was sceptical about fitting smaller ones, reason i bought them was dezzy offered me 4 boots at a price i couldn't refusecapri_rob wrote:Stretch + Borbets innitAlex wrote:i knowbss325i wrote: So would fitting an M42.
More importantly, your tyres look to small! What size are they?
195's have been fitted![]()
You need to tell your insurers about the wheels anyway Alex - check that other thread about a non-fault claim thats gone t1ts up for exactly this reason

Wrong width for a start, what profile are they, that's what looks to small.

Undersized yes, but 195 on a 7.5 is hardly stretched.

Hence why i decided to fit them, if they looked stretched then i wouldn't of bothered.Jhonno wrote:Undersized yes, but 195 on a 7.5 is hardly stretched.
i wasnt sure if it was suppose to have 45's or 50's to be honest but they dont look bad

Alex and I both know they are not ideal but...
1 Its am 318 auto
2 They aren't streached to look at
3 They are a pair of Michelin PE2's and a Pair of Hankook's
4 Both sets have over 5mm of thread
5 He got them supplied, fitted, Balanced and on the chariot for £60 for all 4.
As a temp measure I'm sure you can see why they ended up on there!

All kinds wrong on the wheels you bought. Budget tight. All I had lying about.
Got rid of your wheel wobble, You've now got great tyres on the car, You have paid less than the cost of 1 new budget tyre. Win Win all round IMO

There isn't many your age that aren't driving around like c0ck's in Saxos etc mate.
I don't sell second hand tyres. A mate's lass used to have a fiesta on that size. Thats the only reason we kept them.
If i can help out a Local Zoner for a drink I'm happy to.

Thought i would update the tread as its been over a year
Car has been of the road for ages, as i didnt want to use it over winter however its back out and looking good as usual
Gave it a quick wash and took some pics, for some reason the I on the 318i badge has decided to come off the back, Got a new one to stick on when i get chance
its getting taxed on Wednesday Also i will be fitting my 15" bbs once i get two new tyres fitted

Also decided to sort a little bit of grot on the side of the valance just to tidy it up a bit.
I used the grinder to get the edge shiney and used seam sealer to try and get the same finish as original, then sprayed it with stone chip then Mauritus blue Paint.
The drivers side needs another coat of paint as there is a little bit of seam sealer that i smudged.
