I dropped him an email and never got a reply. I dropped Matt an email too and got a reply of
Craig has said he's already sent you some pictures? I'm not sure he's allowed to give you the pics now as the mag owns the rights - or did he tell you otherwise?
I never got a reply after saying i only got emailed about 4 pics and that other people get pictures on discs. I would email the mag, but after my previous contact with them was a disaster to claim a prize i think it would be useless.

Ahh I've only just found this. I got an email from Craig saying he thought he'd sent me the photos too, and said keep at him and he will send me some. Since then, which was months ago I have heard nothing

I emailed the editor in the end with no reply so far, and I've had my posts asking if they received the email on their Facebook page deleted. Charming

Story of my life really lol. I ended up sending an email to the editor, i had no reply. I posted on their Facebook page politely asking if they had my email - they both got deleted. I found another email address for the editor and sent him another email, i wasn't that happy that my enquiries had been deleted. just rude! After a lot of apologising, i got my disc and Kitchs photoshoots sent out to both of us.
Its not quite as clean as that atm though. I spent a full day before the shoot cleaning it. I need to spend a good day getting it back up to scratch again now
DanThe wrote:Nice pics, whats going on with that inlet

I said it was going back a while! The air box only went in the day before the shoot too!

I would have given up more than likely. Well done asking the question enough times to get the disc.
Great looking facelift this, all the right bits fitted.

Cheers Dez

Well its died again.
Was driving home, popped it into 4th as i turned into my road and it just cut dead. Managed to push it outside my house because it wouldn't start. Its turning over ok, there is voltage at the coils, the fuel pump is priming and there is pressure at the rail. I assumed the crank sensor had gone because it was reading open circuit. I popped my old crank sensor in (i just happened to not have binned, read open circuit too, it has insulation missing and a cracked sensor) it started up, ran for about 15 seconds, died again and it hasn't started since - this was about 2 weeks ago. I got a 2nd hand crank sensor to try but no joy still.
Any ideas what it can be? Im not far off petrol and a match now, I've not got the time or patience for this anymore

Try a new sensor..
Code read?
Spark to go with the voltage?
Tried unplugging the ECU over night?

As above, the sensor i got the other day hasn't started it either.
Codes haven't been read yet,
I haven't bothered checking for the actual spark - its pretty certain its not there if its not firing when the plugs are wet and voltage at the coils present.
I haven't tried unplugging the ecu overnight yet.
Also, the icv is buzzing so i guess the immobilisers are ok aswell (seem to remember that if it isn't buzzing an immobiliser could have kicked in)

Right so i could still have an ews or immobiliser problem then. EWS issues get flagged up on the diagnostics right?

Yep, EWS wouldnt stop the car though, if the injectors are firing the EWS is not to blame

I've been incredibly busy this year, and i've literally not had time to wash the car properly. Yesterday I took the time to wash it properly with a machine polisher I recently bought...
Dojo juice shampoo
Claybar,
Mezerna machine polish
2 coats of Zaino Z2 with ZFX accelerator
Zaino grand finale spray
More pics of the night shoot to come when I get around to editing them

Nope, one shot and pretty much unedited (added more shadow behind the car to remove a window and lamp post). Done with a flash inside the car, and a flash either side of the car at the front
