is there any body out there!!! at all?
who would be willing to help me swap in my new auto box?
tea and/or coffee all day (or as long as needed) lunch from the cafe and some monies for your time.
i'm being lazy and letting the car beat me!
the box is almost ready to come out, just need to split the torque converter from the drive plate and undo the bell housing bolts. then put the new box it.
i've never done a RWD gearbox before, let alone an auto one. would be a massive learning curve. and i just don't have the confidence to attack it on my own.
if you would be interested in helping me/earning some money let me know.
I'm in ruislip. just off the A40 at the Polish war memorial roundabout junction.
if you want a location to check distance, then google "ruislip gardens underground station".
anyone genuinely interested PM me on here, if needs be give me your number and i'll give you a ring.
hate to admit defeat but i need the car back on the road ASAP.
it would have to be on a saturday is the only issue.
could always make it a kind of mini meet...

Too far away for me, but if you're swapping auto for auto, I would just go for it, not too hard at all. Just be methodical and make sure you keep the torque converter on the box as if they come off they are a pain to refill with oil.
