Can anyone recommend a breakers yard or is breaking an e39?

Wondering if anyone can recommend a good breakers yard in the UK? Have been using FAB but their postage is extortionate and I need a large part now.

Or alternatively if you are breaking an e39 I'm after the rear subframe?

FAB's prices are extortion too!

I had a subframe from a 530D Touring, but now sold

I still have the prop if you need it

Shouldn't need the prop, although after everything I have been through repairing it I'll no doubt find that is somehow shagged too

theres a fella in NI should almost deffinately have one but im unsure of how the postage or whatever would work

I'm unsure on the postage front. I've had stuff from the UK that hasn't attracted any premium, and other times I've had to pay massively over the odds. Think it's a case of if they fancy being honest or seeing Channel Islands and ££££

Fab quoted me £120 including VAT and postage....till I mentioned I was from Jersey and they wanted an extra £75 for the privilege. Christ, had a diesel Golf lump sent over for £120!

Not having much luck here! ASWR while really helpful and offering it for £92 posted then phoned back to say it turns out they only have the touring model in stock, which has air suspension.

Can't get hold of Jason's friend, but will try again tomorrow and LK spares won't post to Jersey.
