Due to many years of running e30s into the ground, buying bits and never fitting them, i have some bushes i had planned to use when my 325i fails it's forthcoming mot. I understand Lemforder is a quality brand, what do people think of Vibring, Corteco, and (what i think says) Topren?
Thankyouplease.

Never heard of the other brands.
Lemforder make the bushes for BMW which speaks volumes - and changing them can be a pig of a job that you don't want to be re-doing in a few weeks/months time when the cheap bushes cack themselves.
Punt on the ones you have "in stock" to some unsuspecting fool on ebay and buy some Lemforders.

I have done subframe bushes before, it is a pig of a job, and i totally agree with not wanting to do it again too soon. BUT, the new vibring bushes are already fitted to another spare beam. I could just swap the beam, taking half the time of removing old and then fitting new lemforders to the beam that's on the car now.
Has anyone had experience of vibring? Bought from GSF years ago, if they really are that crap i'll buy some lemforders and prepare myself for a bout of tourettes whilst fitting them.

You could try a set of bush fillers from danthe - these should make them last longer if they do turn out to be shyte

But new lemforder everything from mr meatballs at ecp was a better idea.
Front and rear ARB bushes from the bmw dealer, Matt sorted me with a good price on rear beam bushes, trailing arm bushes, ARB droplinks front and rear, and complete front wishbones. I have a powerflex diff bush, and have had to settle for BOGE front wishbone lollypop bushes - nationwide shortage of lemforders apparently
While i get motorvated for the task, im making a list of other jobs to do while the rear subframe is off.
- change diff oil
- check and renew brake pipes above diff if needed
- replace rear shock top mounts?
- errrr?
What else?
Thankyouplease.
