One bit that won't be covered in that is getting a spigot bearing out of the end of the crank. It can be done with the aid of a 'Rawl' bolt and an appropriate puller, but the classical method is to carefully pack the area behind the bearing with grease, making sure not to trap any air, and then hammer a fairly close fitting steel bar(a sawn off bolt) through the hole in the centre of the bearing, producing hydraulic pressure that will push the bearing out.Rtaylor2208 wrote:Should be the reverse of this:
