In a decade's time people will look at stance-mods in the same way we now feel about Max Power bodykits.

This stance thing is another thing I don't get, just looks like lowered cars to me!

A couple of nice M3s there but maybe a bit too low for my liking.

This...

Never been a fan of 'slammedz' look or the 'stretchdzz' tyre look... Bloody stupid.

Baloon Tyres FTW, thinking about rocking some 65 profile pn the original springs...

Its really quite simple,

1- lower the car until the tyres or suspension components touch the bodywork
2- space the wheels out until the tyres foul the arch to the point the wheels dont turn
3- fit stupidy undersized tyres so the wheel will only just rotate
4- drive the car and smash the underside to bits, rip the tyres to shreds at every corner and batter every arch on the car.

This is called stance and it rulezz ayyyyyeeeii

Mint, I put wheels with a low offset on a Corsa years ago and the back wheels rubbed on the arches when I had fat coonts in the back.

How do you pronounce 'either'? I say 'either', but some say 'either'. Either is correct.

Yea but your photo has awful wheels.

The guy is co founder of stanceworks iirc

he's not going be a oem freak

The csl is a perfect example of being a clown. That's only a step up from sticker bombing

How can 'stance' not have died when the guy with the 206, lowered by removing the front springs altogether, limped back to a garage with a bilstein poking through his bonnet (ooo-er)?

Then there is the c0ck with the e28 (was it rusty?) who lowered to the point of making his rear drive shafts \_/-shaped.

Thankfully it's mostly a yank thing.

Why is stance put in quotations,,,,,, are you arguing the fact its called stance. Would you prefer to call it "automotive ride height" winkeye

And its like anything, If done right it well look well

Like Rav's leather seats compared with Tays DFS sofa

LOOK AT ME! Aren't I different! Each to their own, but I would be seriously pissed off having to drive behind these twunts, mincing down the road protecting their sumps and zorsts.

"Stance" doesn't have to be decked to the point of being useless though.. I'd say my e36 has stance, but it still has working suspension. Chuckable, not crashy etc. Bashed a car load of people and stuff up to Birmingham no issues.

I am not a fan of 'bags nor stupid low. To some it is almost moving art though.

when i first joined this site i mentioned mike burroughs ( owner of rusty the e28 now on bags with metal interior and diesel coated rust for paint, the e9 there and stanceworks ) and people went absolute ape shit cos he wasnt OEM and were insulted at what i intended to do with the car id purchased like they had some right to it and what i did. its absolutely insane, fair enough this whole stance scene isnt for everyone but dont go fucking crazy when people try to push the boundaries of car customisation and design. seen as im buying that new mint black e30 im turning my white one into a proper euro influenced rat beast just to piss u guys off who think a bit off innovation is rocking the boat.
