This is the end result after 6 months of restoration. New wings, new boot lid, new sunroof, rear wheel arches, boot floor, inner arches, YES it was really rotten! New replica alloys, e-bay leather interior.
Under the bonnet - 272 uprated cam, upgraded cylinder head, 6 branch stainless steel manifold, full S/S system, and as of this week alpina stripes. AV3 front spoiler - thanks go to demondaz for help with fitting, and Ant for his help with the zone chip! It now looks and goes like a dream, probably not as good as some of yours, but thats the reason why i didn't try to take it back to original condition, preferring to stamp my mark on it and sort of like make it a one off!

Looks lovely, is the suspension standard, the ride height at the front looks a little odd, apart from that it looks amazing.......red definitely is the right colour if well looked after

Whats with the bumper !!!

Well its a av3 front apron from autovouge, a few zone members have these fitted and we all agree they're different, certainly not every purists cup of tea, prior to fitting it i proped it up in place and thought that it didn't look right as well, but now finished i love it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And it prevokes reactions to keep forums flowing with disscusion, cause thank God we dont live in a comunist country (at the moment mr Blair) but thats for another time.

not keen on the front end personally.. looks too high compared to the rest of the car (not talking bout the ride height - the front bumper is too shallow imo)

Nice job on the rest of it tho!! Must be pretty torquey with that spec

front bumper is nice, but it sits a bit high off the ground compared to the rest of car, needs some sorta splitter or something just to level it out, but other than that its red and its cool!

Hi mate ,can't tell from your pic, but what splitter is on your motor ?.

I recon that when the H&R suspension is on, maybe 50% better, Then i'm thinking of trying a E36 spliter, we'll see !!

from what i been told by the previous owner, their universal corner splitters, I'm guessing their RGM ones because they look their make. I think I remember what the E36 splitter looks like think thats whats missing on it mate, still good car though.
