Got nowt to take pics of yet lads
Any body panels retained from the donor shell are away being blasted and the engine is in bits at the rebuilders. I'll catch up with the dude over the next few days (he may have started building the intercooler & ally tanks etc).
This thing is going to be E30 in silhoutte only, Andy told me the roof height is going to be 38 inches and the rear wing height is going to be 25 inches off the floor, so a savage roof chop is happening. I'll be semi laid out in the driving position.

Been laid under the Chromie today in the howling wind & pishing rain finishing off the exhaust and getting the new manifolds mated upto the system, wasn't able to start it to check for leaks as the battery is flat
Changed the driver side front droplink and went to change the track rod end, but despite my best efforts the inner & outer rods didn't want to part company, so nipped down to ECP and bought a pair of inners. Finished the driver side, just got the passenger side to do tomorrow.
Then need to get the arse in the air and adjust up the handbrake and get a pair of new front boots put on and get it in for the MOT. Then GET THE TRACKING DONE

All in good time Mickey
On another note, a rude spin around the block today after finishing off the pre-MOT jobs. Got the exhaust seated nicely. The car felt very civilised after driving the vitara for the last 3 weeks or so.
The manifold smoked like a bastiiid for ages with the wrap on it

Thanks mate, hopefully it'll be sweet. Went down the road tonight to put some squirt in it as the fuel gauge was well off the scale, it feels bloody nice to drive. Got some Falken 452's for the front, they look alright for the money.
Nowt doing on the drag slag front yet, Andy is working flat out at the office at the moment as we are moving offices soon, so he's building partition walls and loads of other stuff.
As this won't be ready at the start of the season, he's said I can race his 2ltr hot rod at the strip. It will get me used to using a sequential box.

Had a 300 mile roadtrip in the chromie today.
Bloody exhaust is blowing, think it's the clamp on sleeves that join the downpipes to the system, so it's farting a bit. But the car just feels down on power and drunk a stupid amount of fuel.
