German e30 turbo can't get it running is it yours???

My mate rung me today as he's having trouble getting this car started its on German plates from Essex I believe
It's turboed and running ms1
They gave it big Bavarian beauties but they couldn't sort it

Is it any ones on here as my mate needs some bk ground on it ???

its just the guy that mapped mine has been landed with it by bbb but he dont know nothing about it dont know if it was running on standard motronic or was it running at all he just dont know so i thought id do some digging for him on here it must be some ones on here

really dont know mate im trying to find out abit about it im asuming its all self built
but my mate just cant get it running hes a megasquirt expert but dont know nothing abut the car as it was just dumped on him from bbb with no contact from the owner

there not exactly experts in after market stuff are they
bbb was given it with the ms on it they couldnt get it running so they gave it to my mate so i would assume they know as much as him

The car was running and driving when delivered to your mate.. This is the car I thought it was, and Ant helped get it up and running iirc.

I can't answer that one. However it was 100% up and running (just needing mapping) when it left BBB and was 'dumped' on your mate.

It was rough at cold..

When up to temperature, the owner has driven the car, and hard, and it ran fine.

Well I don't think he did a track day in it.. I suspect he took it out for a run and couldn't help himself.

The car was running well enough when warm to allow it anyway.

I would say it has gone for a tweaking and fiddling to help the cold running and make sure it'll be safe.

Ross.... Jhonno seems to of got most of it covered, the car runs alright once warmed up. It is a bastard to start from cold and takes at least 5 mins to warm up to a point where it will run ok. The MS has been simply removed from another e30 turbo and fitted this car, Steve has the car to be mapped. Ive sent you a PM too.

the other reason why it prob runs shit is on ms no 2 engines are the same as ms has so many different settings and variables eg the flow of the injectors wether its running coil packs or normal, air intake sensors all tho there ideally for the same car there never the same settings hence why you can never really use one map for some one elses car

he was gonna use my map for it but will prob have to change it alot a mine ms2
