Did you run the E36 M3 calipers with E30 M3 suspension? How did you make them fit?Jhonno wrote:What calipers/brakes will you be running? Smaller m/c will give more travel but less effort to counter the smller servo. I'd try 23mm to begin with.. I ran a 25mm but had bigger e36 M3 calipers.
I'm running a 25mm MC with the Clio servo and E30 M3 calipers. I think the pedal is a little heavy but that's probably just me. I'm a small guy. Hoping to upgrade to larger calipers in near future.

the 540 and 735i calipers are identical. (watch out for some 730i models which feature thinner disks)crossie wrote:think Uwe had 540 caliper?
you might know more than me!
I have run them with 23mm MC and 25mm MC
Both work fine but the smaller servo I would try a 23mm first.
compared to the 23mm MC the 25mm MC just feels firmer and a has less travel. It didn't feel to me that much more effort was required pushing the pedal to brake hard.
All depends on the brake pad choice. I used a set of PAGID Yellow RS29 and found them too agressive for my braking style. I could lock the wheels up with moderate pedal force
Pagid Blue RS4 was very good and after these I used AXXIS Ultra which are very cheap compared to real race pads but won't last as long.
