Used Davids from good old trusty halfords.
The stuff seems ok.
Is there better stuff out there?

If P40 is good enough for corvettes , reliant robins and Scott325SE its good enough for me !
P.S when doing 'major repairs' best to build it up with cardboard and newspaper (preferably an upmarket title like the times ) then layer on the P40 then finish with a skim of p38 or similar, thats how JonB taught me and he's an expert !

Seen it done on home discovery or men and motors, a program called hot rod something.
It looks easy, heat the stuff up, slap it on the dent and grind it smooth (or is it)?
Did some research on the net and found out its harmful to ur body and stuff.
Can I buy the stuff in the uk?
Do u need and special primer for it?

The best filler is new steel IMHO....
Go back to metal, remove all rust and sweat in new steel with a mig, then grind/ file/ sand it back.
EASY!!!
Even the best repairs benefit from a skim of filler. The secret is to keep it dry then to get paint on it as soon as you can. Not only is filler porous, it is quite absorbent too.

I used P38 for a hole in the roof of my old 316 it started cracking up after a year.
I think I ll have a go at lead for a small dent on the boot.
Lead melts to liquid, should be easy.
Well test out on some old panels.

Dont get too caried away with the heat though,
a large flat panel will warp and you will end up emptying that can of filler!
