One of the area's i gotta look at is my ICE, tis ok for now but will be lookin to upgrade soon

Got factory 4 speaker setup which tbh i'd want to stick with (ie no extra speakers)

Was thinking about components for the front and 6" or whatever size they are in the rear running off my Kenwood 7090 and a small Amp to run the speakers..

Anyone got any advice as to installation n what sort of thing to go for? Looking for quality rather than quantity.. Something for me to enjoy rather than the 13yr old pregnant chavs outside the car

(Im a pretty much a total newb on ICE other than installing my own headunint)

Im guessin im gonna need a 4 channel amp, was thinkin bout an alpine v12 one as i've always heard good things bout them

what size are the speakers in the front and rear?

also if with the components where is the best place to mount the tweeters? I know that if you mount them too far from the main speaker the sound sounds separated..

A v12 would be a good solid choice for an amp, should be plentiful on ebay too...

As for the test, I think the ICE thingy in the tech articles covers it.

5.25" speakers will fit up front, don't know at the back.

Hmm having read that article (didnt realise it was there) im scared lol, sounds quite hard to do!!

Looks like my ideas were along the right lines tho!

If you use a custom build in the front, what do you do bout the original speakers? Leave em there? Take em out?
