Damn rain, can't get any decent shots!

Engine is stock, 144k miles, new belt, new cam, new followers. Looks like a 40/40 drop on it at the moment, random backbox with 2.5" stainless all the way to the manifold. Drives very well, apart from the imbalance.

And the sunstrip!!!

Plans for the weekend are:

Debadge at the back, new rondels, sort out the stonechips and the little amount of rust on the tailgate and sunroof, cut a coil off the front springs, fit ICE, and wax!

Plans for today are: balance the front wheels, cut sunstrip!

And no, the M30 isn't going in this!! :D

That's one hell of a sun-strip!

Nice otherwise though... Rondells will look nice. 8)

More pics after the weekend then!

Sorry yes, roundels was what I meant! Wheels are staying as is until I get some more cash, which means in about 6 months or so lol.

1st issue found already, reason for balancing was there is a vibration at 55mph+ but..... turns out the reason for it is that there is no hub spacers on the alloys. Not too serious, going to get some made I think.

Sunstrip has been nerfed to a reasonable 3.5", totally impossible to drive with that other thing:)

edit: Seems there are only a couple of sets of these alloys in Northern Ireland, just been down to the bloke that apparently brought them over and he says the spacers are a little funny on them, but machining them shouldn't be a problem. Also said to check the back wheels as sometimes only the fronts are spaced (I would do all tbh) and they might have been swapped, off to do some swapping and looking!

Bah, no spigots in any of the wheels. need to get a set machined. Need to see a man about a mill!

(Not called spacers apparently, but spigots. Probably to avoid confusion with hub spacers for adjusting offset)

Incase (lol, dead cert) I am not being clear about the alloy problem, it's the normally plastic bit that goes in the alloy that centres it on the wheel hub.
