Has anyone (is it possible to) put a new element on. I think the hound has scratched the elements whilst snarling at passerbys!

I know a guy that used comma's element repair kit and the rear screen exploded...presumably due to localised super heating of the glass as too thin a layer af material was deposited, leading to a very high resistance element.

So i would rather not do that as only a couple of elements have failed.

cheers for any suggestions.

Totally possible to get new elements, buy a new rear screen.

I have a friend who used to work as a mech at the dealers when the E30 was new, and he said the E30 had a common problem of shattering rear screens when first switched on, on very frosty mornings.
