thanks, well i will be painting it alpine white and leaving it like that for a wile until a one day get round to putting the vinyls on to look like the warsteiner. as for the wheels, i eventualy plan on using the bbs 3pc split rims with the gold centers wich i think looks best on these. id like to use the 3.2 engine but at this point i cant afford it and the 2.8 seems more likely.

im planning on getting my hands on pre facelift rear and fab it into place blending it in with the f/g quarters. lets just keep in mind iv never had a project in my life and this is my first go. im trying to do every single bit by myself lol from welding to filling to mechanics to electrics. iv got a basic knowledge of it all but never put my hand to it, and so far im actualy impressing myself lol. thats why im keen for feedback.

for a novice brave first project.

My first project was a 86' mini mayfair, loved spending every minute on it with my dad. Only sold it 3months ago, after 15years ownership.

Brave, cause if your doing stuff for the first time on something thats not going to be simple.

Its been with my parents for the last 7 years and dad wanted to concentrate on other cars, e30 cabby, e30 touring, and a 1920's vintage car, and the daily's. An ive no time or space.

oh well it was only a mini lol not like it was a E30 or somthing winkeye im tempted to get a cabby for a run around next summer and have my m3 as a toy. troubble is i can see me still building this for next 2 years lol money seems to be my main hold up. got lots i want to do but no money for materials/parts. but no rush as the more time i take the better the outcome is what i keep telling myself.

cheers mate, and thats the picture i keep looking at thinking thats what i want to be driving lol. got a cover on it in performance bmw aswell. its one thing to see a E30 going down the road, its another to see an E30 M3. then its would stop me in my tracks to see a Warsteiner E30 M3 going by winkeye

i think if i was ever fortunate enough to afford a genuine m3, id have to get it as mint and as factory as i could as its such a piece of history, i cringe each time i see one with a roll cage in it. i think what a waste of an original car. this makes me sad. by the way, the warsteiner im copying wont be race spec, it will have full leather trim. think im going for the 2.8 engine first then use the car for a wile until i get everything i need to swap it to 3.2. would love to use the 2.3 but its hard to find and when you do its silly money

Cool project 8)
How do you pronounce 'either'? I say 'either', but some say 'either'. Either is correct.

hey, it cost me £500 for the fiberglass kit and £50 postage from this guy who advertises all over the net. good quality kit as you can see from my pics.

all i had to source was the back window and boot. i made the doors myself. the only prep i did was trim the panels with a grinder and dremmel then quick sand then primer. quality is realy good. standards in f/g nower days is greater than a few year ago. anything else you wanna ask?

wow impressive but also WOW expensive, my friend does vinyls for a living so i plan on getting him to do them, will most likely cost me about £200 for material and time. but i might use the ebay listing so i know what vinyls il need exactly as there all laid out nicely to see lol. cheers matey
