hi buddies.. I've a M50B25 on my bimmer and recently I bought a M52B28 from an e39, I thing it's a "TU"... so, I want to put that engine in there but my question is if it's possible to use the M50's engine wiring on the M52, with M50's intake and ECU ... the M52's wiring is really damaged so I'm thinking on a easier solution, and if it's doable, better for me
so, can someone help me? thanks

Nope it wont work,
you'll have to get an M52 loom to go with the M52 engine

right... I need the EWS as well as the doner's key? If I could eliminate the IMMO on the M52's ECU, it works normally as the M50 ('cause don't have IMMO so it's easier)?craigieeb wrote:Nope it wont work,

Yep, technical upgrades
I thought you meant your M52 was TU
M50 TU & M52 is single vanos
M52 TU & M54 is twin vanos

sorry then! It's M52 with single VANOS... so, I need the M52's loom and what about the EWS? It's really necessary to connect that to turn on the engine, or is there a easier solution? if someone assures me that if I deactivate the IMMO on the engine's ECU ,the engine starts normally without putting the EWS and the signal ring, key ... ... I would fix the M52's loom that is damaged , and put the M52 in my carDanThe wrote:Yep, technical upgrades
