Im using an alpine at the mo, i think it is crap compared to the ive i normally use

Making a statement like that you would have thought u would have mentioned what it is you normally use.

The budget alpine stuff is pretty poor tbh need to be spending over £250 really to get the good quality alpine stuff although there is a few exceptions

My parents live in a Victorian house but don’t use oil lamps and grammar phones.

Have they removed period items, such as Fireplaces, skirting, doors
etc and if so do they now regret it

No that's all still present they even have an old skool looking phone in the hall but functional items such as TV's hifi's etc are all modern although my dad does have an old skool looking Roberts DAB radio in the kitchen

If you look carefully at my posts you will see that people may not like my views but i never make an attack towards an individual like you just did unless provoked
