it will be special..

Am going for the oem look..

my only problem is that I have 3 sets of wheels for it!
the bbs ones, 17" alpina reps and a set of azev a's in 4 stud fitment made especially to fit an e30!

i've never seen a set of azev a wheels in 8-18" in 4 stud..

Is it just a polished lip, or with a clear coat ? Get the tyre fitter to be extra careful if it jas a clear coat. I've always found clear on a polished lip, means any break in the clear on rim edge leads to water getting under and flakey clear coat/corrosion.
Nice looking wheel refurb though.

Im currently running a set of Alpina 17" reps, and I love them. I'm tempted to change them for the real deals, but it's not a priority on something that I'm already happy with. I've also considered going OEM homo.

REALLY tempted on getting the 16" alpinas for it..... :?

I can't believe the ride was very nice. Did you use a suspension set up to suit?

believe me...the ride felt better than 17" reps.

i lowered it slightly but used the same dampers.

When I bought the cab it was well looked after, but the owner liked the slammed look. Barry gave me some excellent advice so the suspension set up was changed to eibach springs + bilstein B4's. Massive improvement.

Next step will be to change to 16" alpinas or 15"BBS, however, the priority is to refresh the paint work and get the auto hood working again. :-)

hi mate,

I don't need anyone to do the refurb, I'll be doing it myself!
I refurbished the leather on my old Motorsport and it came up brand new, I've also done the leather on my old e38 (champagne white) and changed the colour on another e30 from silver grey to red.

Not hard to do, just need time and patience.

That looks great, any pics with centre caps or with tyres?

Ps) Hope the stacking hasn't scratched them!

Here's some pics of the progress on the motorsport..

Complete re spray, tech 2 kit cam off and surprisingly there is no rust anywhere on the car.

The original bbs wheels will be going on the car today.

Hey Goldy - that could be my car...! It will look much better than mine, when it's finished, though. Great job so far. :D

Cheers!

I can't wait to get the wheels on, not sure which springs are on the car at the moment but it does look lowered slightly to me..

It's also getting the prop shaft bearing changed today..

Next up is the refurbishment of the leather inside the car.
Luckily the bubble material is in good condition.

Will be like a new e30 when I finish with it.
