Mate, This is AWFUL! I have just read through this thread and im shocked !

I think you would be wise to have someone dismantle the car and get it back to original state, engine out, oil drained, oil cooler cleaned and checked for flow. Especially if little bits of filter have been floating around the oil system! Then build back up from there!

Sounds like they have stolen your manifolds, and rad too

Take as much advice from this forum as possible. Everyone who has posted really know their stuff and we have all had trouble with bodgers and the only way to fix it is to start from scratch!

I think you're looking at a lot of money in labour to sort this.

Good luck pal ! Look forward to seeing this get sorted! get stuck in!

Did you get the car back and your cash or did you roll over and hand over the rest of the money?

Doubtfull.

What was your E30 before the swap? ie 316i etc...

You might still have a small case diff on. 8O

Needs to look like the one in the middle.

There will be a tag on one of the bolt holes, scrub it up with sandpaper and see what the numbers say.

You could still have a 3.91 ratio. No wonder it feels quick. :D
