Ive been investigating a misfire problem on my e39 523i. Finally found the problem, 2 air leeks on the inlet. One cap at the very back of the manifold, and the vcuum pipe on the fpr. Sorted the cap no probs, but the fpr vacuum - I cant see were the pipe comes from? Now pulled it off.
Does anyone have a pic of the underside of a inlet mani? Been on it all day!
m52 help please!

It usually connects to the plate that screws to the underside of the plenum section

I cant see a thing, Do I need to get the inlet off? Might try and have another look tomorrow.

Just use a mirror to see under it
