anything else to take off my E36 328i?

Anything else to take out for the conversion before I scrap it? I've taken out the engine with gearbox (even though I'm using M42), engine wiring loom, steering rack. Couldn't use the radiator as it has a big hole in the bottom. Should I take out all the loom? I was going to delete EWS.

take out the EWS stuff anyway, just incase the delete option doesn't work out.

If your E36 has air con and the air con fan at the front isn't seized, grab that.

Remove the exhaust system, you can either weigh the cats in for £50+ or sell the system to an E36 bummer as the 323 boys use the 328 exhaust as an upgrade. If it has the 18 button OBC grab that with as much wiring as you can as I sold mine for £50 to some dutch dude who does conversions for them. May aswell take the propshaft as some people need the prop for E30 conversions.

Is the instrument cluster a 160mph version? how many miles on it?

Imo id keep EWS.

EWS you need the ring around the ignition barrel, follow the wires to the transmit and get that, you need the chip out of the key and the EWS module from behind the glove box.

Take the diff, just the cover is worth £20-£30 for someone who wants to make a stronger E30 setup, as Lee said keep the prop, another £30-£40 if your not going to use it yourself
Gear lever/linkage can be used with the M52 box in an E30 too, throttle cable, heater hoses come in handy, the battery cable can also be used in an E30 to relocate the battery to the boot, battery earth leads, probably loads more ive forgot about.
If your sending the engine loom to me then leave the body side of the plug connected and cut the wires, it will come in handy

EWS sounds like a good idea but I don't wanna get stuck. Any threads about fitting the EWS to an E30? I can never find anything in the search function. Smh I remember cutting the throttle cable as I thought I needed one from a 5 series or something...
Dan what do you mean leave the body side of the plug connected? atm I've only taken the engine loom out, I never cut any wires.
When I go back to work on Wednesday I'm gonna strip the whole thing! Don't want to regret anything later on lol

Dan means cut the round plug off on the body side of the loom.

The X20 is the plug where the engine loom meets the body loom, by the fusebox, the plug is in two parts, one half on the engine loom, the other on the body loom, what I meant was if your sending me the loom then send me the whole plug, ie cut the other half from the body loom rather than let it go for scrap
