Hi guys

Where is the interior light relay, and is it supposed to work on a delay. It doesn't at the moment, but has done periodically in the past. My six series used to have a delay relay and I presume these littleuns are the same, if a top range car like a mk 1 sport.

Thanks alot

Paul

on my car it is on the piece of loom in the front offside speaker compartment next to the central locking control unit.(drivers footwell).you will have to take the speaker and cover out ...this is a good place to find damp so you may just need a can of wd40 to sort it ...un plug it and clean the connectors give it a spray and put it back all should be ok ....but whilst you are at it if it is damp in there check the connector to the central locking control before that starts to play up as well

Nice one Gazza, thanks for that. I certainly have had a leak in there, which I am sorting at the moment. It's been coming in from the exterior door trim rubber surround, which has been bent back in on itself a bit, right at the door mirror area, and consequently draining backwards down over the door hinges, and in through the wiring access rubbers etc, instead of being directed forwards of this area, and out the front wing drainage area. Water, it's a pain finding where it's getting in, thats for sure. No damage though thankfully, I must have caught it in time.

Cheers mate
