Hey there guys can anyone help?

Seen this (link) http://m.gumtree.com/v?adId=88363822

It's based in high Wycombe and will be leaving Telford in the next hour or so to go and view and potentially buy? This is the only chance I've got as I'm busy up until January.

Anyways does any body know about this car?

Any comments would be appreciated?

Cheers

Looks Great in the Pics must be worth a fortune just in bits Oxblood Interior really suits the colour of the car! Also 17 inch Borbet are rare and you get a matching colour coded hardtop, Bargain!

Not my cup of char but certainly looks clean.

Those seats are worth a few quid.

Good luck- but tread carefully - High Wycombe is apparently the "Birmingham of the South" when it comes to E30's 8O

THIS.....

Before looking for rust, mechanical faults, ect, ect, Check its ID properly. Make sure the scuttle has not been molested and all the numbers on the logbook relate to the car!!!!

Early car been molested with a tech 2 kit. Look behind the rear wheels and see how the kit does NOT fit properly

Looks tidy tho, check that backbox too.... Sitting quite low

And about a foot out of the back.

PDI and double check the numbers and for signs of a different plate fitted.

defo tread carefully mate i went and viewed a couple down there 3 weeks ago and they were absolute dogs but looked great in the pics?both of the sellers were cheeky they had gone to the nice part of town to take nice pics and then told me to meet them at there gaff.i recognise the phone number and name from a couple of years back when he was selling his red 325i sport,he had around 4 e30's at the time.
also do you think in the pics that the seller has just pulled up on the tip of the drive to take pics?it does seem odd that the pics are taken there.
i hope you havent wasted a journey mate best of luck with it

Hey lads I went down to see it and to be honest it looked fantastic!! I drove it and for some reason the drive was a little off for me....saying that I hadn't driven any e30's for about 10 years or so...

In the end I dident end up going for her, somthing dident sit right with me, maybe just because it was a CAT C write off??

Hey Haywood, nice to know there's a couple of us in Telford :-) if and when I get one we'll have to meet up? Cheers buddy

And many tha ms to everyone for helping me out, cheers!!

I wouldn't have thought CAT C on one of these old turds would've been much more then a new bumper or similar to be honest!

But hey if you're not happy with it and looking to part with some hard earned cash it's not a bad idea waiting till you're 100% sure.. and also best viewing it in the daylight 8)

It wouldn't have been, iirc that is a conference centre in the posh part of High Wycombe.

Hmm. It was suspected. Quite misleading really but I can see it help the car look even more appealing.
