I have to change the handbrake cable on the iS as it snapped whilst having its mot but im struggling to get the end that connects to the mechanism thru the hole in the backplate. Is it possible ecp have supplied the wrong cable as the end seems a fraction too wide. I would compare it to the old old but im still trying to remove the pin that holds it in place. eurocar parts have 2 different cables listed for rear disc models of the 1725mm length but gsf only have one.
