Fine thanks - I've never fucked one up. I can do them, after a steep and sharp learning curve that involved a lot of language! I'm now an expert in both those and setting up Coupe windows to wind tight perfection. Nary a whistle from the panes on the white Coupe.
The M30 starter pissed me right off though. I heard Pete tossing and turning* all night thinking about the chinese recon and it all went tits up. All that aggro getting the bolts out only for the alloy base plate to fracture at the last minute trying to lever the bastard out. That's what 3 years of corroding in Pete's Passage does to a motor. Still, there isn't a mechanic alive who doesn't fcuk something up once in a while, eh?
*Probably just tossing.

You guys are just beginners, one of my most epic foook ups was launching Rezas red 560sl into the garden, via the work bench, the rhodedandram bush (sp?) and the garden wall , it actually became airborne and launched a volley of bricks into the E28 M5 that was conveniently parked nearby !
There was not much tossing that night
The customers Kubelwagen that I 'lit' while he was watching and the 635 that I set on fire whilst welding the front floor are stories for another day........

What a nice man Barrold,
all valves lapped went well to be fair and i've fitted all the valves back in, collets, springs its all in.
Can you imagine doing a 48V V12 rebuild? Makes me wince at the thought at least 12 of everything!

Holy moly its fast! Proper quick, well fastest thing i've driven When it runs on 6, seems to have a bit of a random miss, but it could be anything i guess? plugs are new, so my guess is a coil or sh!tty old fuel won't be helping. Lamba i'm not fussed as its running!
