hi i've been after a 4.10 LSD for my touring and have been wondering whether to just get a 3.91 LSD and try and fit the 4.10 wheel in

I think you can replace the ring and pinion set, but you would need an open 4.10 diff to get this from. Don't know if it would be easier to fit the LSD unit from the 3.91 ratio diff into the 4.10 ration diff casing, but either way you would be looking at a diff strip and rebuild, which is not cheap. For the very slight difference in ratio between a 4.10 and a 3.91(4.5%), don't think its worth the expense and hassle.

If you're gonna do it, PM for info'. (Where are you based? Ԛ£100 does it.)
If you're not gonna do it, you could sell me the 4.1 CWP.
