Work goes on!! I am preparing for an engine change for the touring, I think it's going to be a 2.7 now to keep things on a budget.
All new springs and shocks, new wishbones, new bushes, trailing arm bushes, upgraded brakes all round, and weekend just gone saw new diff bush (Z3) 3.64 LSD, new guibo and prop doughnut, and Z3 shifter with all new shift components, the shift was so bad, the lever would hit the centre console, the improvement is 101%!
Early next year will see a full respray in the standard Diamond Black, and then hopefully replacement engine.

Guys, anyone know how to get the bumpers sitting properly again, they don't line up with the arches, I'm sure most know what I mean, looks like the cars been very lightly bumped in the past, most E30's I see have the problem, is it just a case of getting new mounts?

I know what you mean with the bumpers. You can adjust the up and down at the front by loosening the mounts from inside engine bay for the front of the bumper ,and up and down on the arch side by moving the guides up and down.To get the alignment to the arch itself there isnt much movement but undo the torx bolts (2 off) which are bolted through the front mounts and you can move them in and out but like i said not much.If you can't get enough movement the bumper will have to come off and pack out the mounts.

Rear is pretty much the same,i think theres more in out adjustment for the arch when you undo the 2 torx bolts.Undo the 2 torx bolts but dont take them out, then pull the bumper back as far as it'll go.Set each arch end equal,if theres still too much overlap into the arch when they are both set the same and as far back as possible then tighten the 2 torx bolts and undo the mounts from under the car and inside the boot. Then you'll have to pack them out, thats if of course they arent damaged/crushed ,if they are then thats the cause.
