I get that these cars can be a labour of love a bit like the mk2 Golfs I have owned, although they were cheap to fix, replace engines and gearbox or even updating engines were quite straight fwd.

Anything in particular you are referring to?

This will rarely get used anyway as the 545 is sold. I have the romantic red e36 328i convertible as my daily.....not sure if I should keep that and the e30 just yet.....
